These Terms are written specifically for Plant ID: AI Plant Doctor and its plant-identification, health-scan, care, reminder, subscription and advertising functionality.
Acceptance and scope
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Plant ID: AI Plant Doctor and related services provided by Muhammad Ahsan Shaaf. By using the App, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s App Store terms and the applicable end-user license agreement.
What the App provides
Plant ID: AI Plant Doctor provides AI-assisted plant identification, visible plant-health symptom analysis, personalized care guidance, an AI Plant Doctor question feature, care reminders, plant collections, notes and plant-health history.
Features may include identification of plants, flowers, trees, leaves, weeds, herbs and houseplants; analysis of visible symptoms such as yellowing, brown spots, wilting, pest damage and care stress; and guidance about watering, sunlight, soil, humidity, temperature, fertilizing and seasonal care.
Plant identification disclaimer
AI-based plant identification can be wrong, especially where species look similar, the image is incomplete, the plant is immature, lighting is poor or the model lacks sufficient context.
Do not rely on the App alone to identify plants for eating, medicinal use, toxicity determinations, pet safety, livestock safety, legal/regulatory decisions or other high-risk purposes.
Plant-health and disease disclaimer
Plant-health scan results describe possible causes based on visible symptoms and the information available to the App. They are not a guaranteed diagnosis.
Similar symptoms can result from pests, disease, watering issues, nutrient problems, soil conditions, root damage, sunlight stress, temperature, humidity, chemicals or other causes that cannot be confirmed from a photo alone.
For valuable crops, serious infestations, regulated pests, pesticide decisions, invasive species concerns or repeated plant decline, consult a qualified horticultural, botanical, agricultural, nursery, extension-service or pest-control professional as appropriate.
Care guidance limitations
Watering, light, soil, humidity, fertilizer, pruning, repotting, temperature and seasonal-care suggestions are general informational guidance. Appropriate care can vary by cultivar, climate, pot size, soil composition, microclimate, plant age, season and local conditions.
You are responsible for adapting guidance to your specific plant and circumstances.
Pesticides, fertilizers and regulated products
If a care suggestion involves fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, insecticides or other regulated products, follow the manufacturer’s label, local law and professional guidance.
The App does not authorize off-label chemical use and does not replace professional pest-control or agricultural advice.
AI Plant Doctor output
AI-generated or AI-assisted output is probabilistic and may be incomplete, inconsistent, outdated or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and independently checking important recommendations before acting on them.
Reminders and notifications
Care reminders are organizational tools only. Notifications may be delayed, disabled by system settings or affected by device state. You remain responsible for monitoring your plants and adjusting care when conditions change.
Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases
The App may offer auto-renewable Plant ID Premium subscriptions that unlock expanded plant identification, plant-health scans, personalized care guidance, AI Plant Doctor tools and other premium functionality shown in the App at the time of purchase.
- Payment is charged through your Apple ID / App Store account.
- Prices, duration, introductory offers and trial availability are shown before purchase and may vary by region.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled according to Apple’s subscription rules.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple ID subscription settings.
- Refund eligibility and processing are governed by Apple and applicable law.
- Restore Purchases may restore eligible entitlements where supported.
Advertising
The free experience may contain advertising. Premium may reduce or remove ads where that benefit is included in the offer shown at purchase.
Advertising format, frequency, provider and availability may change subject to App Store rules and applicable law.
User photos, notes and content rights
You retain rights you have in photos, notes and other content you submit. You grant us and our service providers a limited right to process submitted content only as reasonably necessary to provide requested functionality, operate and secure the service and comply with law.
You must have the rights and permissions necessary to submit content. Do not submit unlawful material or content that violates another person’s privacy, intellectual-property or other rights.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive or harmful purposes.
- Represent App output as guaranteed botanical diagnosis, official agricultural advice or professional pest-control guidance.
- Use the App as the sole basis for identifying plants for consumption, medicine or toxicity-sensitive decisions.
- Attempt to bypass service limits, reverse engineer protected parts of the App, disrupt infrastructure or interfere with security except where law expressly permits otherwise.
- Submit content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or other rights.
Third-party services
The App may rely on Apple for billing and on third-party providers for advertising, analytics, AI processing, infrastructure, crash reporting or technical services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Intellectual property
The App, software, design, branding, original content and related materials are owned by or licensed to Muhammad Ahsan Shaaf and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App for lawful purposes, subject to Apple’s applicable license terms.
Availability and changes
We may add, modify, restrict, suspend or remove features where reasonably necessary for product development, security, provider changes, legal compliance or technical reasons.
Some features depend on network access, AI providers, App Store services, supported iOS versions, camera/photo permissions or notification permissions and may not always be available.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and its outputs are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, correct plant identification, accurate disease diagnosis, successful treatment, plant survival, pest elimination or fitness for a particular purpose.
Mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising from reliance on identification results, plant-health guidance, care recommendations, reminder failures, treatment choices, crop losses, plant losses or service interruption.
Liabilities that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of material violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirements or discontinuation of the service.
Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Subscription cancellation must be completed through Apple.
Apple App Store terms and EULA
Unless a custom EULA is separately provided through App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies. These website Terms supplement rather than replace Apple’s applicable terms.

Consumer rights and severability
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove mandatory rights available under applicable consumer law. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary while the remaining provisions continue to apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App, subscriptions, advertising, AI providers, reminder features or legal requirements change.
